Here are our combined pictures from the AMA race weekend at Road America May 29-31. I have to admit outside of the main factory racers I did not know who most of the racers were and had a hard time figuring out what racers I knew from previous years since they changed teams, bikes and numbers, including no televising of the races for over the past year plus which didn’t help. Rich Oliver was supposed to be there, but I did not see him. I did however see Wayne Rainey (hence his Krave Mgmt. of the new sanctioning body) and also Arron Yates who must have been racing but I am not sure which series. I never had the chance to talk to Jim Roach either because I did not spend as much time in the paddock and when I was there he was always busy working. I am still waiting to see if the races will actually be televised. I found them on Charter and set the DVR, but they already bumped the airing of them from this past Tuesday to tomorrow. Even though Mother Nature dished out some various weather which wasn’t too pleasant at times (especially Saturday), we still enjoyed ourselves as usual. I always enjoy watching these guys and gals race. Very exciting and entertaining! Below are pictures we took with hopefully accurate captions.
