Once again, today Scott and I met at 9 a.m. by our cart. We started off by watching some of the morning practice sessions on the outside of turn 1 before venturing to the paddock for a stroll and participated in the fan walk around the lunch hour.

While we were doing the fan walk, we seen a gal with a shirt that said “Max Flinders is my Biggest Fan” and when we got to his line in the pits, she was in line. We stayed to see his reaction and oh boy, was that ever funny! He was even blushing. We also ran into double-brat Larry Pegram being interviewed by the MotoAmerica crew. I told Scott he’s got to be around mine or Josh Hayes’ age, and sure enough, pretty close… 53. Nice blast from the past seeing him there too!

We sat at turn 7 to watch the Kramer’s race and while we were there, Jake Gagne pulled up by us for a little bit to spectate on his pit moped.

From there we went to the outside of turn 8 to watch for a little bit, but then ventured back to the inside of where the Jimmy Mitchell bridge used to be before heading to the outside of turn 5 again for the supersport and super bike races.

Josh Herrin was able to pull of a double-header win for the super bikes and that was a fun race, until Cameron Beaubier crashed on one of the last laps. After that, Josh had the race sewed up and nobody close enough to contend with.

For the most part we had great weather for this year’s race weekend, minus the rain on Friday afternoon and the cooler air yesterday. Today I was actually able to take my hoodie off for the afternoon. Oh, and we ran into our former coworker from G&L, Shane Agnew, in the paddock. It was nice chatting with him and his brother for a bit.

And if you back up to my first blog, as I predicted, the Ducati won both super bike races.

So, that’s a wrap for RA super cycle weekend 2025.
