I was going to attempt joining some other riders today to meet in Kingston around 10 a.m., but decided to forgo that to accomplish some much needed tasks in the morning with hopes to get out on my own in the afternoon. Well my plans worked out great and I made it out around 1 p.m. I started around town with a drive through the park and thoughts of going up around Lake Winnebago on the east side, but changed my mind and headed up the west side of the Lake into Oshkosh and west out of Oshkosh on some roads I have never been on before. I ended up going through Eureka and into Berlin before heading home. My map says only 80 miles, however I didn’t turn on the tracking until I was starting out by Supply’s Marsh. If I wasn’t supposed to meet a former coworker and friend around 4 p.m., I would have kept on going. Probably the last day of the year to hit the 80s, and although it was pretty windy, it felt oh so good!!!
