I was supposed to go sledding and possibly skiing with my home group today at Dave’s family sledding/ski hill, but it was cancelled due to lack of snow. Since my new ski pants fit me so well and I had it in my head to do this, I asked some friends (Lori included) if they would go to Sunburst with me to do some tubing. And today was going to be the warmest day for a while, including sunny in the morning.
So Emily, her boyfriend Randy and as I mentioned, my Sista and I did just that. It is always best to get there right when they open to avoid the large crowds that develop later in the morning and throughout the day.
I had to break out my infamous Home Alone mask again, as I did last year when we did this on New Year’s Eve. It also really helps to keep your nose warm.
After that we stopped in at the El Pig’s Butt in Kewaskum for some lunch and to the antique mall. Randy and I weren’t too impressed with antiquing though.
So glad I as able to do this today and get outside for a change. Did I mention, I hate Winter! Haha.. its actually not so bad.
