On Friday, August 17 I flew out with a group from work to Olympia WA airport on our company plane with plans for me to drive from their to Kent WA to visit our Foundations group located at that facility. Although I didn’t fly back until the next day commercial, I was too wiped out to site see the evening of my visit. Plus I booked my hotel closer to Tacoma in Federal Way in a somewhat shady looking area. So wandering off on my own didn’t seem to appealing except for when I needed dinner and nothing special for that since I didn’t want to travel too far because traffic is horrocious there. Although my trip the next day to SEA TAC was way more easier to navigate than I had thought it would be. Traffic wasn’t too bad that morning and the new Google Maps app I downloaded seamed to work much better than the standard map app on my iPhone.
So the only pictures I took this trip were from the plane and airport. I had breakfast on Saturday prior to my flight back home at the Seahawks 12 Club inside the airport. Excellent breakfast quesadillas. This time my view of Mt. Rainier was hazy due to the smoke from the fires in Canada. I cannot wait to visit there again and hopefully take some time to site-see around Seattle. The views and pine trees are spectacular!
