I was able to attend the Red Bull MotoGP races at Indy September 13-14. Although my travels to and from Indianapolis were less than desirable due to the remnants of hurricane Ike; including how nasty it got during the MotoGP race, it was a real fun time and a great experience all around. If I would have had more time and the weather would have cooperated better on Sunday, I'm sure that I would have figured out some better spots for taking action photos; including getting around to more areas of the track. Even though I had good seats (Section J) just before the entrance to the start/finish straight-away, I had a hard time taking decent photos due to the safety fencing in front of us and not having a good enough zoom for all of the other turns in our area.  Either that or I still need to learn how to use my new camera!
